Privacy Policy
Draft pending review before launch. This page describes how CALCORA works today; it is not legal advice and does not by itself guarantee compliance with any law.
What data we collect
Without an account, CALCORA works on your device: your calculators and preferences (language, currency, appearance) are stored in this browser's storage and are not sent to us.
When you create an account we store your email address, the name you choose (optional) and your sign-in credentials. If you sign in with Google, we receive your email and name from Google.
While signed in, the calculators you create (name, description, fields, formulas, language, currency, category, visibility and version history) are stored in your account so you can use them on other devices.
How we use and store it
Account data is used only to sign you in, keep your calculators in sync and run the features you request. A copy of your calculators stays on your device so they keep working offline.
Technical error information may be recorded to detect and fix problems in the app.
Private, public and saved calculators
Private calculators can only be read and changed by your account.
Public calculators can be opened by anyone with the link and may appear in the Community section of Explore. Their name, description, fields and formulas are visible to everyone; only you can edit or delete them.
Saving someone else's public calculator stores a reference to it in your account, never a copy. If its owner deletes it or makes it private, it is no longer available.
What other users can see
Other users can see only the calculators you publish. Your email address, your private calculators and your saved list are never shown to other users.
Deleting your account
You can delete your account at any time in Settings. This permanently deletes your account, all your calculators (public and private) and your saved references. Other users' saved references to your public calculators are removed too. This cannot be undone.
Calculators stored only on a device stay in that browser until you delete them or clear its storage.
External services
CALCORA runs on Lovable Cloud, which provides hosting, sign-in, email delivery for account messages, and the database where account data is stored.
If you choose Google sign-in, Google processes that sign-in.
If you use the AI builder, the description you write is sent to an AI model through the Lovable AI Gateway to draft a calculator. The AI never computes your results; calculations always run in CALCORA's own engine.
Where data is physically stored, and for how long backups are kept, depends on the configuration of these services and will be detailed before launch.
Contact
Contact details for privacy questions will be published here before launch. Until then, you can delete your account and data yourself in Settings.
